Because we are a grassroots organization deeply rooted in the DIY ethic, we depend on the kindness of strangers, not million-dollar PR campaigns, to spread the word about the great work that we are doing. On this page, you'll find ways to help spread the word. We greatly appreciate the help and would like to hear how you are helping to spread the word, so drop us an email. Who knows, maybe one day we'll get organized enough and share the love by sending random gifts (we do have a nice collection of hand-printed patches).on the internets
Blogs, websites, forums, email, there are all kinds of ways to generate a buzz on the internet without too much of an effort.
Add us as a friend on Myspace: Go to http://myspace.com/drsanctuary and be sure to tell your friends.
Use one of our banners: Add one of our banners or buttons to your website, email or forum signature. If you can, please copy the image to your server and link back to our site. If you can't, don't fret. You can just copy the code below and paste it where you want it on your site. We'll be adding more banners and buttons as time goes on.

Spread the buzz in the blogosphere: Take time to write a blog post about us or the work we are doing (or you can just link back to any of our blog posts that you enjoy).
in the streets
Until we get some literature for you to print out, you're kind of on your own when it comes to spreading the word in the streets. We'll get some literature up soon, and we have a lot of great pamphlets, booklets and zines in the works, so check back soon. Better yet, sign up for our monthly email newsletter and we'll let you know when we have new stuff for you.
In the meantime, throw a party for us! Its fun and easy. Get creative with your party. You can have a vegan potluck or show an animal lib related film (there are a lot of fun ones out there like Open Season, Pom Poko, or the 70s classic God Bless The Beasts And Children). You don't have to do any fundraising, but we are a grassroots organization that depends on all the small donors out there. So if you want to pass a hat to help out the animals, we'll be sure to spread some love back your way. Remember to tell people that they can write out checks to Deep Roots Animal Sanctuary, and no amount is too big or too small.
